You will be picked up from your hotel between 8:30am-9am to begin your tour. You will start by traveling to Earthquake Park to learn about the history of Cook Inlet and Kenai during the largest earthquake in North America. From here, continue to Point Woronzoff, an overlook point where you can view the mountains surround Anchorage with the opportunity for fascinating photographs. Your guide will tell you each mountain's name, introduce you to the history of Anchorage, and provide insight on the activities around Anchorage.
Next, you will head to Lake Hood, the largest floatplane base in North America, to watch the planes come and go. You will then make your way to Turnagain Arm to enjoy the mountains, sea, and potential wildlife from Potters Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary. Afterward, you will head through the hills overlooking Anchorage to 2,300 feet above the town where you can take it all in with spectacular views from Denali to Cook Inlet to the Chugach Mountains.
You will make your way back downtown and learn about the areas of town before being dropped off back at your hotel to conclude the tour around 12:45 pm.
